Matt Granda
Managing partner of Claggett & Sykes. Admitted 3 October 2012, a day after Steve Dimopoulos, with bar number 12753 against Dimopoulos's 12729 — Nevada's sequence puts them in the same intake.
The bar record
What Nevada publishes — and what it doesn’t
Nevada prints “Disciplinary Actions” affirmatively, with no time window: where there is nothing, it says None, and where there is something, it names the sanction, the case number and the date. That is more than most states on this site manage, and it is why a clean Nevada record means more than a clean Florida one.
What it does not publish is almost everything else. There is no practice-areas field, no fee-options field and no other-states field. Texas prints all three. So for every Las Vegas listing here, the connection between the lawyer and rideshare work comes from the firm’s own site, and any second-state admission is unverifiable from this register rather than merely unchecked.
So read the badge narrowly. It means a human opened the State Bar of Nevada directory on 29 July 2026 and read what it says about Matt Granda. Nevada also issues a fuller Certificate of Good Standing and Statement of Discipline History separately on request, which implies the directory entry is a summary rather than the file. We have not requested one.
Background
His bio lists bar admissions in Nevada and Oregon. Nevada's directory has no other-states field, so Oregon is unchecked.Reported

The bio says the firm now has 90 employees and 35 attorneys with offices in Las Vegas, Reno and New York, and that he became an adjunct professor at Boyd in 2025. It also names a Lexis Nexis treatise he authored on Nevada personal injury law.Reported
His register entry records the firm as Claggett & Sykes Law Firm; the firm trades as Claggett & Sykes Trial Lawyers.Reported
